WHAT WILL YOU DO?
• Foster a warm and welcoming reception environment for all employees and visitors.
• Greet all internal and external guests with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Oversee the management of all incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, including daily mail processing, distribution to departmental mail stations, and scheduling courier pick up.
• Support large mailouts such as equipment dispatches and marketing material distribution.
• Ensure kitchens, photocopiers, and mail areas are clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Book and coordinate in-house meetings.
• Manage and replenish office supplies as necessary.
• Assist the Office Manager with building and administrative projects and duties that support the corporate and operational teams in our continued growth.
• Uphold a safe and clean office environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
• Previous experience in an office reception role is required.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills with a natural service-oriented approach. The successful incumbent will act as an ambassador of the organization for clients, visitors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, often as a first point of contact for the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Outlook.
• Willingness to learn new programs and systems; prior experience using a property management service portal is an asset.
• Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize regular responsibilities with projects is necessary.
• Ability to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced, high expectation environment, and thrive in it.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player who can work independently with a hands-on, ‘do-er’ mentality.
